MY ROLE

For the Burger King x Chicago Sky partnership, I created bold motion graphics for the game’s jumbotron and side screens to promote Burger King’s fiery menu. Since Burger King was an official partner for this WNBA matchup, my role was to capture that signature flame-grilled attitude and translate it into high-energy visuals that fired up the crowd. The animations mixed the fast-paced excitement of the game with the brand’s playful heat, creating an immersive moment that brought the Burger King experience right into the arena.

To celebrate the success of the Fiery Menu, we connected the items to a "you rule" moment in an unexpected way by partnering with the WNBA Chicago Sky team, specifically with Kamilla Cardoso.

Understanding that attendance for WNBA has increased 156% from last year, this was the best collaboration opportunity to gain national media attention.

Rallying the WNBA and BK crossover fans, we created a dedicated BK Fiery Fan section at the Wintrust Arena, where we equipped each fan with BK crowns and coupons.

To also visually capitalize on the collaboration, we tapped into Chicago Sky's new mascot, Skye the Lioness, and gifted her a crown and a BK jersey and had her officiate a halftime game.

From giving out coupons during the game with IG Stories to utilizing the jumbotron, this was an in-person and online experience where everyone got to get excited about the BK x WNBA collaboration.
